Roaring River State Park
in Southwestern Missouri The average daily flow of 20.4 million gallons issues and rises through mostly dolomite and limestone formations, to form, at the base of a bluff, a large pool of spring water. In 1979 divers explored the spring and found the pool to bottom out at 224 feet. The river carves its way through three miles of park on its way to Table Rock Lake, four miles downstream from the park boundary. The surface of the spring is 1045 feet above sea level.
